    Perhaps we could rename the Cole painting: “Small investor contemplating financial markets, 2011.” Over the rapids.

    Bill – Cole’s “Voyage of life” series is about personal development – (I have all 4 prints on my wall at home)

    But Cole did another series that is more appropriate called “The course of empire” – here’s the last two stages – “Destruction” & “Desolation”. You chose.:
