There Is No Geographic Limit In Trump’s Order
Trump Declared “Protests” Illegal “Rebellion” Subject To Military Force
I thought I’d make important points about Trump’s Order to deploy the National Guard that the press and alternate media are ignoring or downplaying.
The media is accurately reporting that the Trump Order also allows deployment of regular US troops:
In addition, the Secretary of Defense may employ any other members of the regular Armed Forces as necessary to augment and support the protection of Federal functions and property in any number determined appropriate in his discretion.
But they are not reporting that while the Trump Order is time bounded (i.e. limited to 60 days), it has no geographic limitation, i.e. it is NOT limited to the LA protests – it is nationwide in scope!
This opens the door to and sets the stage for exactly what I suspect – the military crackdown is NOT limited to LA and that LA is prelude to Washington DC “NO KINGS DAY” protests.
The “factual” basis for Trump’s Order is NOT limited to LA, but rather cites “numerous incidents of violence” which may have occurred nation-wide, i.e. Constitutionally protected general protest activity related to ICE’s national deportation program:
Numerous incidents of violence and disorder have recently occurred and threaten to continue in response to the enforcement of Federal law by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other United States Government personnel who are performing Federal functions and supporting the faithful execution of Federal immigration laws. In addition, violent protests threaten the security of and significant damage to Federal immigration detention facilities and other Federal property. To the extent that protests or acts of violence directly inhibit the execution of the laws, they constitute a form of rebellion against the authority of the Government of the United States.
Trump has openly declared “protests” – which are protected by the Constitution – to constitute “rebellion” that is not only criminal activity but can be crushed by military force. Anywhere in the US.
Let that sink in.
This is wildly unconstitutional and deranged fascism.
