My Lunatic Fringe Moment On InfoWars

“You don’t interview a guy in pajamas.”

infowars

People moving out, people moving in. Why, because of the color of their skin.
Run, run, run but you sure can’t hide. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
Vote for me and I’ll set you free. Rap on, brother, rap on.

Well, the only person talking about love thy brother is the…(preacher.)
And it seems nobody’s interested in learning but the…(teacher.)
Segregation, determination, demonstration, integration, Aggravation, humiliation, obligation to our nation.

Ball of confusion. Oh yeah, that’s what the world is today. Woo, hey, hey. ~~~ “Ball of Confusion” The Temptations

[Update 10/14/16 – Counter Punch makes exactly the same point I make in the video:

Fatally missing from most liberal analysis  (and political strategy) is that the main fuel powering Trump’s campaign is popular rage at the corporate corruption of the political establishment. Clinton’s corporate campaign is incapable of tapping into this mass desire for change. Unfortunately, the failure of union and progressive leaders to offer an independent, anti-establishment challenge to Trump leaves the right-wing an open field to exploit the popular anger.

[Updates below]

I was minding my own business, taking photos of the climate march in Philly yesterday, when I overheard what appeared to be a mentally disturbed man shouting to a media interviewer.

I took a look see and noticed the media was “InfoWars”, so when it ended, I gave the reporter a piece of my mind for taking advantage of a disturbed individual and called him out for using that interview to ridicule and discredit the marchers.

I said I didn’t want to be interviewed, but he managed to suck me in – it is painful to watch – posted under a headline: Ultimate Hillary Zombie Discovered (interview starts at time 2:35)

I think the DNC is shameful. Wasserman Schultz should resign. The DNC should be abolished, it’s a corrupt institution. It’s destroyed the working class and most industrial towns in the whole country, because of policies pursued by the Clinton family.

It goes back to Bill Clinton – and nobody’s talking about that.

He poured gasoline on deindustrialization, which started in the ’70’s.

He went with global trade. He did all this bank – Wall Street stuff. He deregulated the banks – he’s the problem.

Hillary is going to be more of the same.

Globalism is a corporate agenda – it’s NAFTA, it’s the Obama TPP thing.

It’s a corporate rights agenda over American workers and American communities.

This is one of the few things – this is what explains Trump’s appeal. Because he’s appealing to people who have been disenfranchised and betrayed  by the Democrats. And now they don’t have jobs, they don’t have hope, they don’t have communities that are viable.

That’s what’s goin’ on.

[Update: 8/4/16 – I called the DNC a “corrupt institution”. Former Bill Clinton Secretary of Labor and Berkeley professor Robert Reich agrees:

The DNC’s problems are structural.

The Democratic National Committee – like the Republican National Committee – has become little more than a giant machine designed to suck up big money from wealthy individuals, lobbyists bundlers, and corporate and Wall Street PACs.

Amen, Bro. ~~~ end update]
